Nick Strimbu, Inc. and FASTPORT Partner to Commit to Hiring Veterans Through Hiring Our Heroes Trucking Track Program


Brookfield, OH - Nick Strimbu, Inc., the leading regional truckload carrier in the Midwest and Atlantic Seaboard, announced today a commitment to hire veterans through the Hiring Our Heroes’ Trucking Track Program and a partnership with FASTPORT to help fill that hiring commitment.  “We know that veterans possess many of the skills and attributes that it takes to be a successful professional truck driver.” said Bill Strimbu, president of Nick Strimbu, Inc. “Being able to offer great opportunities to veterans along with a stable work environment and logistical support is important to NSI.” 

Nick Strimbu, Inc is holding a hiring event Friday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. “We are planning an exciting two-day event,” explained Heather Holmes, HR coordinator. “We are looking forward to discussing possible careers with all military veterans who attend.  Drivers will be offered a chance to be hired in at the highest wage and benefit package in the region for truckers. If you’re a veteran we honor your service and want you on our team.”
